Objective

 

Distracted driving caused by mobile phone use is one of the leading causes of road accidents. This speculative campaign was created to communicate the hidden danger of texting while driving. The goal was to make the risk tangible through a simple memorable visual narrative.

 

Execution

 

Looked at ad examples from adsoftheworld.com to be inspired. Texting while driving blinds you and can be fatal, i took this fact and used it in my creative thinking. Minimal typography and a clear statistic reinforce the message: in the average 5 seconds it takes to send a text, a car traveling at 50 km/h covers around 70 meters.

 

Outcome

 

The result is a striking awareness concept designed to stop viewers and make them reconsider a common but dangerous behavior.
